Game Overview
The game play of Missile Warfare is fairly easy concept to grasp. Missile Warfare is similar to dodge-ball in the essence that you have to dodge the missiles coming towards you, and you also have to fight back to win. You do not control these units directly, but you launch these units, whether they be solo or in formations at the enemy in an attempt to kill them. In this 3v3 format, with all players launching and dodging, it becomes a hectic game but with (hopefully) a nice fun aspect to the game.
Offensive Overview
To win the game, you obviously need to know how to kill the enemy. It is as simple as strategically creating buildings to destroy your enemies' units with your missiles. Using Terran as an example, Supply Depots and Armouries both build solo units at the position of the building. Where as buildings such as the Starport send a formation in a 3-2-3 formation in the middle of the map. However, these formations can only have one formation of the map at anyone time, but you can stack your formations.
Defensive Overview
Staying alive is just as crucial as being able to shoot someone down. Using your SCV, probe or Drone, you dodge most incoming missiles using your mouse and moving away from the missiles. However, some formations maybe to good for your 'juking' abilities, and you need a last resort. That's when the mirrors come in handy. They take a bit to construct, but once finished they last 15 seconds (25 for protoss) and in that time if you are behind the mirror, the mirror will reflect units in the area around it whilst also changing it to a friendly.
Buildings
While most buildings create missiles that are sent hurtling towards your opponents, some do other jobs- like getting you out of a tight spot (Mirrors) or advancing you builder to the next level
(SCV -> Probe -> Drone). Each builder level gives you a different set of ways to destroy your opponents, and the Drone's creations are generally the most deadly. However, co-ordinating your team so you have multiple races at once can lead to some mind-blowing formations that will likely leave your opponents open mouthed, raging and builder-less!
